Helpful Tips for embellishing flip-flops
- If decorating the flip-flops with material/embellishments such as ribbons/fabric, embellishments made of rubber, foam or plastic, our Urethane Adhesive works great.
- If using crystals to embellish/decorate the straps, E-6000 glue works great.
- Before gluing, make sure to clean the surface with rubbing alcohol, vinegar or acetone. By doing so, it will enhance the performance of the glue.

Hello, I do have a question! Do you hve to sand down the area to place stones? If so, would you use a nail sander or a file? Not sure which to do. Would be easier if the stones would stay on without extra work. Thanks, Joanne

You don’t have to sand the straps, all you need to do is to clean the straps with acetone or vinegar or rubbing alcohol (in order to enhance the performance of the glue) before decorating the straps.
We suggest the E-6000 glue if you are decorating the flip-flops with stones. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
